New Delhi, Jan 30: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will Thursday review its preparations for the April-May Lok Sabha polls and discuss the controversies involving its members.
“The meet (Thursday) will review the preparations for Lok Sabha elections and discuss the number of seats to be contested,” a party statement said.
“Discussions will also be held on various controversies in the past one month including (those involving) Law Minister Somnath Bharti and expelled MLA Vinod Kumar Binny,” the statement said.
Bharti courted controversy over his action against an alleged sex-and-drugs ring in south Delhi.
AAP leader Gopal Rai said there will also be a two-day orientation programme for the MLAs starting Thursday.
“The orientation has been organised because most of the legislators are first time members. The programme will be inaugurated by the chief minister Thursday,” Gopal Rai told the media.
