Michelle Obama uses film to focus on helping disadvantaged kids

Washington, January 17: The American First lady has used a special film screening to focus on helping disadvantaged kids make it to college.

According to Newser.com, the film titled ‘The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete’ revolved around two inner-city boys, who are left to fend for themselves.

She urged the nation to do more to help young people get the support they need to make it to college and complete their education.

Michelle said that the movie should begin the conversation that is already happening about what they have to do to invest in kids in this community, as there are millions of “Mister and Petes” out there who are just struggling to make it. (ANI)
