Washington, Jan. 26: Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney thinks Russian President Vladimir Putin is a better leader than US president Barack Obama.
Romney told NBC that Putin ‘outperformed’ Obama ‘time and time again on the world stage’.
According to the New York Post, Romney called the United States and Russia ‘geopolitical adversaries’.
He even blamed Putin for giving cover to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and said fugitive leaker Edward Snowden’s asylum in Russia was a “bit of a stick in the eye of America,” the report said.
But Romney gave Putin respect as his nation prepares to host the Winter Olympics.
