London, Jan. 26: Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovych has reportedly offered prime ministerial position to opposition leader Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
Yanukovych extended the offer following talks with the opposition to put an end to the raging protests taking place in the country.
The President also put out an offer to former boxer Vitali Klitschko for the position of deputy PM, the BBC reported.
The opposition leaders did not come clear on whether they had accepted the offer and stuck to their demands of holding new presidential elections.
