New Delhi, Feb 23: The national capital woke up to a nippy Sunday morning. The Met Office forecast a clear day.
The day’s minimum temperature settled at 12 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season’s average.
Sunday morning saw light fog, and the visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 400 metres.
“There was shallow fog in the morning, but the sky will become mainly clear through the day,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 98 percent.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 23 degrees Celsius.
Saturday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average, while the minimum was 12.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average.
