Kejriwal’s convoy attacked in Kharohi village of Gujarat

Ahmedabad, March 5: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal’s convoy was attacked on Wednesday by unidentified men in Kharohi village near Bhuj in Gujarat.

Earlier, workers of the AAP and the Bharatiya Janata Party clashed with each other in Delhi and Lucknow over Kejriwal’s detention in Gujarat.

In Delhi, the AAP workers protested in front of the BJP headquarters. The Delhi Police used water cannons to disperse the protestors, who threw stones at the BJP office.

Earlier today, Kejriwal was detained by the Gujarat in Radhanpur while he was on a visit to Gujarat.

The Gujarat Police stated that Kejriwal had not taken permission from them to hold road show.

Earlier in the day, Kejriwal reached Ahmedabad to embark on his four-day state tour to verify BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s development claims.

The former Delhi Chief Minister was expected to travel to several places across the state.

He was also expected address a public meeting in Ahmedabad on the last day of his tour. (ANI)
