Nine killed in Egyptian road crash

Cairo, March 10: At least nine people were killed and 30 injured when a bus overturned near a tourist resort Sunday in Egypt, a media report said.

The tourist bus, carrying 50 people, overturned early Sunday as the driver lost control of wheels while taking a U-turn. The accident occurred near the Hurghada tourist resort overlooking the Red Sea, Xinhua reported.

Bad weather and heavy downpour made it difficult for ambulances to reach the scene.
