London skyline to be restyled by 236 new towers

London, March 14: The London skyline is going to witness a radical transformation as more than 230 new towers are planned to sprout soon.

According to the New London Architecture, 236 tall buildings of 20 storeys or more are proposed or approved or under construction in London, of which 80 percent will be sold for private flats, the Guardian reported.

Peter Murray, director of the NLA said that it is crucial to have a planning to provide a vision for the city in the future and to control the way development takes place in a reasonable manner system.

However, the survey has revealed that the public is more receptive to high-rise buildings than it once was. (ANI)
