Melbourne, Mar.15: Red Hot Chili Peppers’ last month New York gig at Super Bowl XLVIII has sparked controversies as two members of the band exposed their nipples on stage.
Anthony Kiedis, the frontman, and bassist Flea performed at the half-time show when both of them went shirtless and exposed their nipples, News.com.au reported.
According to an online culture magazine Deadspin, the band’s performance has provoked 53 complaints to the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from outraged American fans.
One of the complaints read that it was indecent that he had to see the nipples of Kiedis and Flea on the half-time show and both men and women should wear shirts as there were children watching the show as well. (ANI)
