Tetra Pak heir buys Roman Abramovich’s mansion for 28.5M pounds

London, March 24: Hans Rausing, heir to the 4.4 billion pounds Tetra Pak fortune, paid 28.5 million pounds in cash for Roman Abramovich’s luxurious London mansion.

A spokesman for Rausing, whose wife Eva died from a drug overdose, said that the 50-year-old billionaire’s aim is to restore the Georgian listed home to its former glory in way that is sensitive to the period of the property, the Mirror reported.

One of Britain’s richest men bought the property that overlooks the river Thames from the Chelsea owner in December 2013.

Rausing, who suffers from heroin and cocaine addiction himself, was ordered to go to rehab and given a 10-month prison sentence, after his wife’s body was found decomposing under a pile of clothes, bin bags and blankets at their 70 million town house. (ANI)
