Women fake orgasms to turn themselves on

London, March 27: A new study has revealed that some women fake orgasms during sex in order to increase their own arousal.

According to the researchers of Temple University and Kenyon College, women were more likely to fake orgasms to turn themselves on, rather than to end sex, the Independent reported.

The study also revealed that the most common reason for faking an orgasm was altruism and women said that they did not want to hurt their sexual partner’s feelings.

Erin Cooper said that the unique thing about the ‘Faking Orgasm Scale’ for women is that they quantitative evidence suggesting women may also fake orgasm for far more ‘selfish’ reasons, like increasing their own arousal.

The study was published in the Journal of Sexual Archives. (ANI)
