Advani files LS nomination from Gandhinagar, says BJP will form next Govt.

Gandhinagar, Apr.5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K Advani on Saturday filed his nomination from Gandhinagar accompanied by party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

Earlier in the day, Advani had asserted that it was clear that the BJP would form the next government under the leadership of party prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, but at the same time said that nobody could be compared to former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, including Modi.

“Won’t compare Narendra Modi or anybody to Atal, because Atal was in a league of his own. Narendra Modi is the most efficient organizer and he will prove to be a good PM. I am delighted to be contesting from Gandhinagar, and if there is one clear picture emerging from this poll, it is the Congress is losing and the BJP winning,” Advani said, in an interview to a television channel.

Modi himself handed over Advani’s nomination papers to the collector as a goodwill gesture. (ANI)
