New Delhi, Apr.28: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday said the party would persist raising the issue of land dealings, which involves Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra.
Vadra has denied the allegations leveled against him of improper dealings with DLF.
The BJP has termed it as a massive scandal which resulted in injustice to many people of Haryana and Rajasthan, respectively.
“On Robert Vadra’s land deals the BJP will persist, there is no doubt because it’s a massive scandal which has resulted in injustice being done to the people of Haryana and injustice done to the people of Rajasthan too, we shall persist on this matter because truth has to come out,” said BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman.
Sitharaman also questioned Sonia Gandhi and vice-president of ruling Congress party, Rahul Gandhi’s silence on the matter.
“Congress president and the vice-president have remained silent on it. Not one per cent, who is being alleged to have some involvement in any of them in any of the series of corruption that has happened, was even subjected to an enquiry and particularly the president and vice president run away from answering they remain absolutely silent,” said Sitharaman.
