Ambikapur, (Chhattisgarh), Apr. 18: Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday said it is worrying to see the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) crossing all boundaries to nab the prime ministerial seat after the parliamentary polls.
Gandhi was addressing an election rally in Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh.
Gandhi hit out at BJP and said the party poses a threat to peace in the country’s diverse society of over 1.2 billion.
“BJP is not leaving any stone unturned and crossing all limits and boundaries to grab the chair of prime minister. Seeing it, we are worried that it is a big threat for our democracy,” said Gandhi.
Gandhi also promised employment to the youth and empowerment for women.
“We have promised in our manifesto to develop the talent and capability of the youth by giving them training in order to provide them employment. We have also declared many schemes for our dear sisters in our manifesto,” she said. (ANI)
