Everton overwhelms Man U two nil, leaves Coach Moyes in misery

London, Apr.21: Manchester United Coach David Moyes was left forlorn and miserable after his team was handed a two nil defeat by Everton FC, the team he managed previously, during an English Premier League return match at Goodison Park on Sunday.

According to Sport24, the goals were scored in the first-half of the match by Leighton Baines and Kevin Mirallas.

Everton are now just a point behind fourth-place Arsenal with three games left. It is now confirmed that Manchester United won’t be playing in Europe’s top competition, the Champions Trophy, next season.

Languishing in seventh position, six points behind sixth-place Tottenham, United may not even qualify for the Europa League – an indication of the deposed champions’ decline since winning the Premier League last year by 11 points.

Moyes left Everton after 11 years to take charge of United last season. (ANI)
