London, April 25: North Korean leader Kim Jong-un request to help make Emmental cheese was turned down by a French college, it has been revealed.
According to the Daily Star, two officials from North Korea visited the National Dairy Industry College in March with the aim of sending people to the college to learn the art of high-quality cheese making.
Though the news went viral that the school had accepted to promote “cheese diplomacy”, the college’s director denied the news, saying the partnership didn’t fit their priorities and strategies.
The 31-year-old dictator had apparently sent officials to attend the course as he was unhappy with his country’s attempts at cheese making. (ANI)
