All is well between TDP-BJP, confirms Prakash Javadekar

New Delhi, Apr. 18: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Prakash Javadekar on Friday said there was no dispute between the Telegu Desam Party (TDP) and the BJP.

He added, “Our boat has not hit the rock, but our alliance is rocking.”

“There are no issues between the TDP and the BJP. We will move forward with this alliance (BJP-TDP) and are confident of victory. Our boat is not hitting the rock, but the alliance is rocking. We have two pupposes of this alliance. Faster development of both, and second, is a Congress free India. We are together for these two reasons, and this is our ideological commitment, and when we have such commitments, small things don’t matter,” said Javadekar.

“We want to give a more stable and policy oriented state government in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We have shared suggestions to make the party win more seats and have also discussed ways to make this alliance more productive and result and policy oriented,” he said.

Earlier, there were reports of an ongoing dispute between both the parties over the choice of candidates by the BJP.

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu had expressed serious displeasure over the choice of candidates by the BJP in certain Assembly constituencies allotted to it. (ANI)
