Gates of Kedarnath thrown open for pilgrims

Kedarnath (Uttarakhand), May 4: The door of the famous Hindu temple of Kedarnath has been thrown open for the pilgrims and the visitors alike.

The gates of the historic Kedarnath temple was re-opened, following last year’s massive flash floods that left scores of people dead and damaged property worth crores.

The famous abode of Lord Shiva which is a part of ‘Char Dham Yatra’ conducted by the Hindus was partly damaged which remained submerged in mud and slush which claimed several lives. (ANI)
